1107 Introduction to Taming Vol. 1 CrunchySushi ::As written by Wanderer Druid Mithrandir, Travelers will often find that in their adventures, they become lonely, and are in need of a partner to share their adventures with. Of course, one can always call upon a companion through friends, or even strangers they meet. But this method is often unreliable as human companions cannot stay with you forever. The solution is simple: Tame loyal pets to become your companion. ::Although there are some drawbacks, the benefits will outweigh this. For example, pets are easy to tame and can be summoned to you whenever you need for them to. They also follow you wherever you go, albeit very slowly. The only real drawback to having a pet is that it will not be able to aid you in combat, until you bond strongly with it. ::-Creatures that can be Tamed- ::Chicken - can be tamed with seed of the grain. ::Pig - the meat of the very creature; pork. ::Sheep - allured by the scent of sugar cane. ::Cow - tamed with grain. ::Wolves - tamed with the bones of the dead. ::-Enemies that can be Tamed- ::Spider - tamed with string. ::Creeper - use gunpowder. ::Zombie - these undead are attracted by feathers...how strange. ::Of course all creatures are sentinent and have emotions as do you and I. Attacking your companion will result in it attacking you or fleeing from you. Upon your death, your pet will also run away. You can also summon your pet to you {{via /pet command}}. ::So if you want to take up a companion along with you, follow these guidelines. Read volume 2 for using your tamed pet wolf to attack!
