Entering the Nether

Thedas Riverwood and i were closing down on the ruins that i located while scouting a few days back. As the night started to draw near the screams of monsters could be heard echo around the  forest. We decided take shelter in an abanodoned house near a lake and rest for the night. :: It is dawn, we leave the house and lay our eyes on the ruins, what a sight to behold. We were both entranced by the sight and the riches we hoped to find within. As we closed in on the ruins  however there was an eerie silence about the place, not an animal in sight and a shallow fog  engulfed the lowlying ruins. Our emotions change from excitment to caution as we had an uneasy feeling about these ruins. :: We pressed ahead anyway and began our search, i found a strange button which when pressed i nearly plummeted to my doom towards a pit of lava! Thedas quickly pulled me to safety. We continued searching the ruins with increasing caution until we began to hear a low hum full fo malice. We thought it was ourimagination until be found a secret entrance  in one of the smaller ruined houses. What we found there was more than we could handle. We had found a portal! ::We were in a state of shock. We had gone searching for treasure but what we found was more important and far more valuable than any gold or diamond ingot could ever be. We made our way towards the portal, our minds were being twisted with dark thoughts, a taint which could only be eimitted from a Nether Portal. As we neared Thedas said that if we enter we may never return but this was to big to walk away from. We calmed our minds, unsheathed our swords and stepped into the portal, Man and Elf shoulder to shoulder, into the beyond. :: :: Fact or Fiction. You Decide :: :: Written by Fantasti
