1155 Observations on undead magic Demolicious Observations on undead magic:: by Licios :: Undead are mostly known as bane of all life, the pure evil of Iblees and with many other names. But rarely is interest focused on more than quickest way to behead and burn them. :: How many have actually given thought to their powers over magic? Few, I would say. Still, their might is something never before seen upon this world. That alone would be worth closer study, though many would disagree with me. :: My own encounters with the servants of Iblees have shown me strength of their magic, and I was lucky to leave those encounters alive, in one piece. Even close to as close to death I was during those enconuters , I cannot help but admire their effortless command over raw forces of universe. :: With surprising ease, even weaker among Iblees's servants are able to conjure fire and lightning upon those mortals foolish enouch to cross their path. One can only be fascinated by the raw power they wield. :: And this does'nt even yet give a thought to the power mightiest of Iblees's necromancers wield. I have seen the flying city of undead with my own eyes. I cannot but watch in ave and respect the amount of power it must have taken to summon part of Nether itself and lock it hovering high above the ground. :: Yet we have not given a thought to their powers of summonin g. To bring force of life, that, according to our knowledge, is gift from creator himself, so easily back to rotting carcass it once inhabited. One can only wonder, how are mere servants of Iblees, who was a servant of Creator, summon Creator's gift so easily to the masses of shambling servants they make use for. :: This is indeed fascinating subject, but we have not yet covered the one mystery. The source of necromancers' power. :: For would every necromancer draw his power directly from Iblees himself, surely would even Iblees be weakened, even as powerful as he is, being able to grant such powers to his followers. :: If this power does not come directly from Iblees, then where is it's source? I believe Im able to answer that question. During my encounter with a necromancer, I saw him wielding staff with a golden head. The staff seemed slowly to fade away from this reality, as he harnessed more of his magical powers. I believe, that necromancers use the elemental power locked within gold as a source of power for their spells, channeling Iblees's will trough the staff. :: Magical powers of undead are a fascinating sight, for they are something few have ever seen, and far less have lived to tell abot it. Many are drawn by the lure of power that Iblees promises. Humans are swayed even easier than most, due to our short lifespwan. Once Im gone, my work will be in vain, for no one will carry on my research or my studies. :: No wonder many seek the way to immortality, trough undeath. :: Author's note: Contact author for any information regarding undead or their legendary Necronomicon.
