Jun lay awake in his bed, the waves crashed on the side of the boat as he trembled and moaned when it was about 2 at night he wondered to himself... how did i get into this mess? :: our story begins with little Jun, aged 8 and a year off from his tribes traditional initiation sa il, but he was different from the others... he HATED the water as when he was 4 he saw his parents dragged into the ocean by the Kraken, and on that day he has never set foor on the water :: and so, a year later he Is on a boat, people dieing left and right, the massive tentacles of the kraken, ripping the little boat he was on, he almost blacked out when he saw he captain, Cpt Bogbeard shout 'Comeon lad grab a spear and get yer' sealegs! ' the adrenaline pumped through his body and he suddenly shot up, grabbed a spear and started stabbing the closest thing that looked like a tentacle :: for about 10 minutes he was screaming and swiping at anything he saw until he heard somebody shout ' its dead! the Kraken is Dead! ' he was filled with all sorts of emotional releif when suddenly, all the energy dissapeared from his body and... Jun Fainted. A year later Jun woke up he felt sick and didnt know what was around him, people were calling his name and he saw the outline of his mother, Julies.... His father, Richmond and his little brother perea. people saw he was awake and suddenly went silent as Jun sat up, scrubbed his eyes and yawned when his eyesight came back he saw that his family looked somewhat different :: suddenly Jun woke up... his head was thumping and he could hear the sloshing of the water on the side of the boat and he heard a man shout "There be Land ahead Boyos!" he got up from the floor were he had passed out and moaned "ugh... my head is killing me..." he saw his friend, Marshall sitting on a bench with a bandage around his arm and blood dripping down it "What happened to you?" Questioned Jun. " when i was fighting the kraken i had managed to stab it in one of its tentacles, when it recoiled in agony, the end of the tentacle ripped the side of my arm" "well you need not worry now, the Kraken is dead and land is near" Until suddenly, a violent shudder rocked the boat onto its side... :: :: :: look out for the next book in the series 'Sealegs Angels of the Ocean'
