Chapter I: Meaning of Ayleid :: ::Ayleids, also known as The Ancient Ones or Hearthland High Elves , where the first and most powerful race in the world. Their name comes from unknown origins, although is rumored that the words Ayler (Wise) and Eidsan (Ones) might've been the creators of the name Ayleids , wich would be translated as The Wise Ones. Very little is known about their language and culture, for they were seized by the human empire during the First Era. Ayleids are known to posses the most powerful magic and knowledge of all beings. Most of this knowledge was erased to prevent catastophic events in the world.
