1947 Elena Scentoune's Journeys Through Aegis And Beyond dacorn123 My main goal is to become a mage, a wielder of magic, master of spells and knowledge I approached a test... It seemed impossible, but I knew I could do it if I had hope... I was brought to Mage's Tower by Guildmaster Cataris... It was undescribable... Power emanating from the walls... vibrating the whole place... but calmly somehow... Like how you need to use magic... Strongly but with a limit... Powerfully but for good... There I was taught about tokens to apprenticeship... How could I find them? I believed it was through loyalty and cooperation... But a token was for one person only... Could that possibly mean cooperation was a secret virtue? get me out! That is what I said when I fell into a pit by Mage's Tower. Good times... From there we went to Poop's End (haha) to decipher a suicide letter in turn for a token. My presumptions we wrong, and Grimbeard, a trusty friend, got the token. I am joyful for him. When we journeyed on, we discovered Guildmaster's daughter's grave. It was in ruins... The undead had obviously found it and ran it over with netherrack and dirt. Guildmaster then left us to survive and thrive off of our new knowledge. Freya The Frost Witch made a new grave for his daughter, and we huddled near it for warmth. I thought over the virtues that made us higher than the undead: cooperation, hope, belief.... Freya found a lit cave nearby where we would stay safe and warm. We huddled inside. It was lit with warm torches and a light of people. That is what got our hopes up. When the sun met the dark, we headed in the direction of Oren. That is when we found Undeadkeep. A large obsidian structure overflowing with lava. We stayed low... Observing the area where the Undead all start.... Then, I saw people. I thought they were travelers and I said hello. But...No. They were undead. Guraim screamed at us, following us with his sword. We ran and ran, and eventually found KOTF. I fell into a lane of water, and they helped me. When I lost Freya, they got me back on my feet. I am thankful for them. Then, we met a large rainstorm and blizzard as we passed a small village. I could hardly go on... It was too cold. But I just had to follow Freya... Eventually, we found Oren... Grimbeard and Freya said their farewells. I could hardly see because of all the rain pouring into my eyes... I was running throughout the rainy streets of Oren at night, basically blind. I eventually found Dawn's inn and huddled near the torches for warmth. That was when I discovered another virtue: Perseverance.... I had walked all that way in the rain and cold, and survived. That's got to mean something. Was perserverance the secret to becoming a mage...? I wouldn't know until I entered the tomb. A mean villain, Sconn, was running wild through the streets. That's when I found Freya. We both had our swords unsheathed, chasing him around town. We cornered him many times, but he always escaped. Eventually, a guard caught him... Freya said her farewell, but I still had to find the second token! It was clear that the token was hidden in a tomb buried in the forests of Oren. Ancient mages guarded the area from their deathbeds... This would make it even harder... I've now returned to Laurelin. The trees and nature are so beautiful! Power emanates through the ground, as if... It's this quietness that makes Malinor strong! This, I find, is another virtue... A virtue of appreciation. You must appreciate what you see, or you won't see anything at all... It is these virtues that make us supreme to the undead. They open up the path... To becoming a mage... And they stick with us... Forever... And if at a certain time we fall, we know it has been a long time coming... A good time, of course. Because that is exactly what virtues provide. I then traveled to the Dwarf Kingdom. While I was in Laurelin I overheard something... About the Undead making tunnels underneath Laurelin and Oren... I wanted to speak with them I enter inner Kal'Uruguan... And feel much strength emanating from the walls... Here... I feel courage and belief. Bravery to want something, courage to keep trying! I take a quick seat on the king's throne... I feel like a queen! But... I believe it is time to return to Oren... To find more about these tunnels... And to find the token that leads me to apprenticeship! What could the Undead be up to? Perhaps they are working with the sandminers! Whatever it is, they are up to no good. And I will protect Oren from their evil! I head back on the familiar path to Oren... I haven't been there for a few days... If something is going on with these tunnels... What could Oren possibly look like now....? I finally get back to Oren... Everything is safe and sound...
