Potions and Alchemy: Dyes

The ability to brew potions is an important skill to many who study the arcane arts. There is a common misconception that Dyes are the easiest of these potions and requires little still.  To the contrary Dyes are a great example to showcase the fundementals of Alchemy. ::  In order to produce potions you will need an alchemy set.  Including a burner who's flame can burn at ranges from red fire to blue fire.  The color of the flame is important to extract the coloring essences of the dye ingredients. :: The Some materials may be transfigured together to form a new dye.  For example, Bone Meal is one of the most versitile magical dye ingredients.  It lightens and brightens the host color to form rare and valuable dyes. Do not attempt to do such transfigurationunless you are comfortable with working with base dyes.
