2193 How it was in Laurellin Alectriciti Back in Laurellin, things were simple. Life was good. No one would try to rob you, throw lightning at you or in anyway hurt you. I grew up in a small house up in the trees with my parents and my brother. I was homeschooled, for the most part. Yet from that small little bundle of a family, I was raised very well. All the glory goes to my wonderful parents, who taught me everything about righteousness. They taught me to live for what's right, to die for what's right. Not because it's a good feeling in the end, when you're the hero, or any lust for gaining praise, but simply because it's the right thing to do. When things in my family started to crash, and my brother's selfishness became his demise, I finally entered the real world of Aegis. I was no longer in comfort, I was out in the wild, for five years. With nothing but clothes I had sewn from my father's material, I struggled for life. I remember being shooed away from Laurellin by the Elf guards, shouting "Scat! Begone with you!". Like jumping from hot water to cold water, it was a shock to me. Suddenly in the darkness, no one to turn to. I remember crossing hills and mountains, finally reaching a huge forest. Up in these trees, I made a home. It reminded me of Laurellin. It was familiar. My first attempt at building a house went very well despite my lack of experience. It was a safe place, anyway. Not necesarilly cozy. However, I was out hunting for food when a giant green creature came after me. It hit me, and ruined my tree house. I felt maybe making a house higher up would be a wiser idea than close to the ground. Further down in the forest, I found some very large pine trees, and built a house up there. This was my first successful and solid house. I was attacked by many spiders at first, but held them off. *drops book.
