Headed out from Laurelin and went east until I came to the new Warden Outpost. Stayed out the night in the cave where I mined some coal when I made my first shelter. I am headed further East to new lands, and hopefully undiscovered forests. On the 31st of Suns Smile, 1308 I dug into the earth to escape the dangers of the Night... I hear the zombies and skeletons outside...making ungodly sounds...I pray for daylight. Came upon a natural evation in the landscape, this will be my new home. I have started building a house up in the trees....home is where the trees are..an elven proverb.. I am tending the nature around me...replanting trees..praying for those I claim. I am making offerings to the mother daily, I am hereby fasting until my home is done . ::I believe I have been planting the 2 trees for every one I fell and the Mother has seen kindly on me; I found an underground spring, the freshest and clearest water. No wonder the trees around here are growing so nicely. I have started eating again, I had a feast, ate 6 apples in one sitting. I am stuffed. I am now sitting in silence. Silence is a rare thing now that he undead have started coming to my doorstep. They seem to be attracted by the telling signs of my daytime activites. Yesterday I almost fell to my death fending off a zombie . as a countermeasure I have now made two 2 meter high "walls" outside my tree. I am hoping this will keep them away. On a positive note, I have planted 4 trees on my roof...my very own little tree top "garden". It is where I go early in the morning to meet the sunrise. It's getting late, I am turning in. :: Itnan, 9th of The Amber Cold, 1308 :: I am happy and content here in Nae'leh Emereld Tower...but I am getting lonely. I long for some company...maybe I should head towards Laurelin again, I am afraid I am neglecting my Ravenhold Guard duties, yet maybe I can share this place with my brothers-in-arms. :: After watching the sun rise and set these past few days I realise I have mistaken my earlier geographical directions. I went south from Laurelin, not east! Had I not figured it out I would surely have been lost in the wilds. :: :: :: I am done writing in this book for now...will write more when I can spare the time. :: started my journey back home today. Can't believe it's been a whole year I've been gone. Heading straight north I have now laid quite alot of ground under my feet. I'm tired. Found shelter in a tree, I hope it'll keep me away from harm. it's the night of the 31st of Suns Smile, 1309 :: On my second day of travel, continuing north, I came to my old shelter just north of serpentridge. If I head east I should come upon the Warden Fort. I shall spend the night here. Started going east, was met by skeletons. Damned if I am going to die when I am so close to home. A spider has found my shelter, I can hear it outside. Should I not survive... :: If someone should find this book, I am Aegnor Felagund, wanderer of the wilds...actually inhabitant of the wilds. I have learned much this past year, and should it be my last I am happy to say that it has been one of the best of my 287 here in Aegis. :: :: ... - End of Journey - ...
