The History of the Ascended

When Iblees was banished from Aegis long ago a few of the ancient race "Aenguls" decided to stay behind and live with the other races of Aegis. They had many descendants that many see today, all of the people that live in Haven are Ascended The Aengul, Ariel appeared to four of the most direct mortal descendants of the Aenguls in the form of a mongoose to warn them of coming war and disruption of the Peace. During the Ascendeds travels they met another direct descendant and he joined in their efforts. They were told by the spirit of the Aengul to travel with a sapling from the Cloud Temple and plant it somewhere specified by the spirit herself. They travelled for many many days leaving several shelters on their path that you can still find tod ay. After many days and thoughts of giving up they found a spot to make a grand city of the Ascended. They were unsure why the spirit wanted this spot but soon found out when digging the foundations of the wall and finding a small circular cavern in which the spirit told them to plant the sapling, which is now one of the most holy entities of Aegis.
