I was born and raised on a small farm and mill outside oren. I was an unusual child, helping with the farm work, but making books and teaching myself to read. I lived a peaceful life, even if I was unusual till I was 13. War broke out with a large band of rogue orcs, humans, and dwarfs. The kings army needed more guards, so they drafted every boy who could hold a sword. This is how I became a swordsman. I stayed in the guard till recently,when I joined the holmes gr oup. Also, I kept my love of reading a secret though my army days, but brought it out recently. This happened when the Whisper Library opened, and I became a librarian.
