3166 Beregrim's Family Lore lichtkang Long ago, from the Kal'Urguan caves, the ancestor of the Beregrim family set out to settle in the woodlands. His name was Beregran and the family name origantes from his. He became a wealthy carpenter, but fell out of business after a great fire that devastated half his town. He wasn't hit, but from now of on the inhabitants preferred stone furniture! He retired and died soon after, but his son, Eric Beregrim, used his father's fortune to invest in trading articles. His first trips weren't that succesfull, but through the import of weapons he quickly succeeded! The dwarven Kingdom of Kal'Urguan went to battle with the Orcish fiends and the demand for weaponry raised faster than the number of recruits that were eager to join battle! :: Trade continued to be the main source of income for all the descendants of Beregran, but every now and again one of the line set out because of a craving to mining and smithing. Something given down generation on generation because of their Cave-dwarf ancestry. The last known descendant at the writing of this book, (Kamees, 33rd of the First seed, 1314) is Thorg Beregrim, a Blacksmith and architect who established himself in the town of Terriko, protectorate of Krugmar, the Orc nation. It is he who wrote this book, and his descendants who will keep record of the family tree.
