3311 Undead Keep Report Tyber1231 This is writing of Aren Wayworn, Recruit of Followers o' Aeriel, on 25th of Malin's Welcome, 1314 . ; This is report of atrempt to infiltrate Striqaephoth with help of FOA_Recruit_Glow and Elven_Royal _Guard_Alastor. ;The so called Floating City looks terrifying. From the bottom it is surrounded by large area of Sou lsand and Netherrack, with several pools of lava, taking source from the air platfroms above. Above all, the terrain looks demoralizing and hard to move around, due to lava and soulsand widely s pread there. ::The only small weakness of the terrain is small terrain outcropping from the Northern side of the city . If able to fly through the gap (About 15 blocks), you can safely land on ofe of the platforms. For more brave people who have large supply of food/protection against fire there is a way of ge tting in by going up one of the lava flows. Personally, i do not recommend such a way. ::Now the defence capabilities. Defence of Striqaephoth is relatively easy. As getting up i nearly impossible, several Undead can stop the entire army. Due to their capabil ity of magic, based on fireballs and summonings, they can easily halt attackers, and deal heavy casualities to them. Catwalks connecting each floating island are also good and safe spot for archers. ::Conclusion of my report; in any case, I STRONGLY suggest not using large armed forces, but a g roup of Commandos, who can clear the gap of over 15 blocks, what for me seems clearly impossible . My conclusion comes to the fact that this city can be overtaken only by using spies or commandos . Group of spies who have gotten into ranks of the Undead, could take over the keep, while an offi cial, front attack would be a distraction. ::This is a work of an amateur, who based his conclusion on several ventures to the Undead's cit y. It might not be as accurate as offical reports (If any), but i based it on my personal experi ence, and i believe in it. I hope this report is reflecting well the capabilities of Striqaephoth. ::This report is intended for future use, as info on enemy's fortress in case of war.
