3335 Undead Keep Scout Report Tyber1231 ::This is writing of Aren Wayworn, Recruit of Followers O' Aeriel, wrote on 28th Malins Welcome, 1314. ::This report concludes reconeissance of Undead Keep, with help of FOA Recruit Glow and Elven_R oyal_Guard_Alastor. ::Surrounding Terrain. Surrounding of so called Floating City of Striqaephoth is terrifying. Lar ge area of land around the city seems like taken straight from the Nether. Terrain consists main ly of Netherrack, with large patches of Soulsand, which makes movement very hard. What makes movement even more dangerous are scattered around lava pools, overflowing and causing fire hazard to anyone who is not Undead. Those pools take source from the Sky platfroms above. Whole terrain is very demorilizing, hard and dangerous to move about. I suggest not staying in that surrounding for long. ::Ways of getting in. From what i seen, getting in is nearly impossible. There is no staircase, hidden entrance or any other way of getting in from the ground level. Althought, during my search, i've spotted a small terrain outcropping being relatively close to what seems to be some sort of a church. Unfortunatelly, the gap between the ground and the platfrom at this point consists of over 15 blocks, what seems quite impossible for me. Althought good use of magic might allow to transport several people through the gap. A more Extreme Method of getting in would be by going up by one of the lava flows, taking source on the sky platforms. Someone with high enough supply of food or protection against fire could make it up the lava flow. It's an extremely dangerous method and i suggest using it as a last resort of getting in. ::Defence Capabilities. Striqaephoth is relatively easy to defend. As it would be hard and slow As it is nearly impossible to get in, several Undead could halt the entire army. As they base their attacks on range and summonings, they can protect the city dealing heavy casualities to the atackers. I do not advise front attack. ::Ways of attack. Based on my earlier statements, i suggest either using Commandos, who might clear the gap of about 10-15 blocks. Other, more reliable way would be using spies or double-agents. They could attempt to take over the city or eliminate the Undead, who would be focused n fighting off the attackers. In case of that scenario, frontal attack would be a distraction. Of course it might happen that spies will join the enemy or they will be turtured and forced to tell the plan of attack. All ways of attack i stated are dangerous and would have a high risk of failing. ::Conclusion. Concluding my report, i stronly suggest using small group of people, who would attempt to take over the city. I strongly disaprove a frontal attack. ::This is a work of an amateur, who based his work on visual recognition and his suggestions and predictions. It might vary from theofficial reports (If there are any) , but i believe it is cor rrect, as i wrote what seemed reasonable and real. ::This report is recommended for future use, in case of assault on the Floating City.
