3346 Moo's Travelling journal Themastermoo I start my journey today, scouting the land, searching for signs of the undead attacks. :: I came across something troubling today, more rumours of The Wandering Wizard's connection to the undead. Apparently he's orchestrating more attacks against the S.A. because he want's them to move. I must look into this some more... :: I met an interesting dwarf today, by the name of Juvens. He's a lord of Oren. What's a dwarf doing being a lord of Oren? Hmmm... The most intriguing part is the fact that he is rebuilding snowy fields into a fortress calle d Crimson Vale. Claims it is to defend against "Any enemy that threatens the people." I can't blame him, there needs to be a good fort up there. There's also a new gate just north of Crimson Vale, to mark the northern border of Oren. I must rest for the night now, will continue my journeys in the morn. :: Todays travels were informative. There is a sadness over me today, I was searching for alstion, and I could find no traces of it aside from a couple broken down rotting houses. But in its place was a beacon of hope amidst the rubble, a strange man named Reiugi had built a hall right in the midst of the destruction, it was of good craftsmanship, and beautiful stonework. It had a courtyard in the middle with a single tree. He offered me his bed for the night, and gave me torches for my journeys. He claimed he was cursed to the shadow, and the guards of Alkhazar wouldn't let him in, so he built a refuge in the wilderness for those seeking shelter. A good man I must say. I am taking refuge in a signal fire tower as I write this. I have but one more thing to scout before I return to the AFF fortress. :: As I neared the mountain that was my old home, I knew something had changed. As I went to where the undead had put the new entrance, I saw a waterfull spilling over the g ate , and that's the main problem, there's a gate. I couldn't get into the gate, I wasn't small e nough to fit or strong enough to break it. But one thing I learned from my youth as a bandit... There's always a back door. I quickly found an aboveground entrance into the tunnel system I created. The stupid undead thought a layer of dirt could keep me out. Unfortunately, they had blocked up the entrance from the tunnel to the main mining area. The fortress is pretty impenetrable. Theres a pit right in front of where they blocked up the tunnel. My journeys took a slight turn for the worse when I fell down it. Luckily I activated my soul-stone before I went unconscious. And the kind monks tended my wounds. I am now journeying to one more undead fortress before I head home. :: As I searched for the undead fortress I came upon an FOA forward battalion and was let inside. They did not trust me at first, but once I explained my purpose as an ally they warmed up to me and fed me. I had a run in with one named Glow, he was a sergeant. I had assaulted and killed a friend of his in my youth as a bandit. It almost came to blows until his superiors intervened. Things calmed down a bit after he left, and I had a nice chat with a captain, and learned a f ew things from him, his name is Garn, and a helpful sort he is. I learned the undead fortress in the north has been destroyed, by a large alliance of a hundred men, dwarves, and elves. The official report is that King Edmund led it, but rumour is that The Wandering Wizard Avail er was there, and led the charge against the undead. Either people cannot get their story straight, or The Wizard is a two-faced liar. Garn's theory is the Wizard does the things he does for the greater good. He also believes Alstion and Snowy Fields were corrupt places. I don't know much about that, but I do know that I don't trust two faced folk... I am off to explore the ruins of the undead fortress now... I cannot find the ruins... I've been wandering around in the wilderness for days, My supplies are running out and I wan't to go home. I'm using my soulstone to go to Kal-Urguan now.
