"Ember in Oren"

While traveling through Oren, two elves were alerted by a shout that the castle was in danger from foul sorcery.  The elves quickly went to the keep to help in any way they could. When they arrived, they encountered a creature called "Ember", which was unable to communicate in any known language.  The elves helped subdue the creature.  They wished to bring the creature back to Laurelin, where they knew the creature would recieve assistance. However, the humans threatened the elves, and forced them to leave.  As they were leaving, a shout was heard.  A princess was under attack by and assassin.  The elves defended her as best they could, but the assassin fled.  In the confusion, the humans let the creature escape When the elves tried to resubdue the creature, they were set ablaze. The creature managed to escape, though the assassin was eventually captured. But the treatment the elves recieved from the humans was disgraceful. Some of them even spoke of war between the humans and the elves.
