Shamanism and Druidism

Shamanism and Druidism are closely related. From many sources, including shamans and druids, I've put together some facts and found out about the relations between them. :: :: The first Druid was an orc shaman. There was a major war going on between two nations, ravaging through nature and destroying everything. The god of Aegis came down to a shaman and spoke to them. He said to be one with nature, and to form a different "branch" of shamanism, the Druids.. :: :: The shaman gathered some followers then spread out, helping protect the land. Eventually, the more nature-like Elves became the druids, while Orcs stuck to shamanism. :: :: Obviously, the druids and shamans have many similarities. They both work to protect the world from harm to nature and the elements. They both origionated from the same thing. They both are heavily influenced with natural beings. Shamans and druids, without realizing it most of the time, do help each other in keeping the balance of the world. They are both nessecary for Aegis to be the way it is today.
