The best way to succeed in the land of Aegis is to find a way to earn money, the best way to earn money from the start is to kill monsters. When you've plundered some money off of monsters' corpses, you can then take that money and buy yourself a sword or bow to earn more money from monsters. Killing creepers sometimes yields iron, which you can use to make yourself a full set of armor for protection. ::Since you have yourself a full set of armor and a weapon, you decide what you want to do next.
