4010 The Story of My Blindness The_Blind_Seer I was much like you Young Adventurer, strong, ready for anythig and even Mina-less. I was sure I could tackle on any situation with the tip of my sword and slowly filling my pockets with the mina of corpses from the creatures of the night. But thats enought of rambling, onto the real story. :: :: One fateful day I was venturing, writing land marks onto my map as I explored, being a tourest if you would. Foolishly I was alone, and the day got colder as I, unkowingly, was heading towards the Snowy Fields. As I picked herbs to aid the taste of some pretty cold mushroom stew, I was ambushed. Flashes of Lighting temporarily blinded me my vision as three dark souls slowly walked towards me. Using a blunt onject that felt like a large stick, they knocked me to the ground and out cold . :: :: I heard chatter as of what they were going to do with me, they sounded like zombies , but I knew regular old zombies couldnt plan something like this, Then I saw their faces.. Undead.. I knew I was doomed, shivers went down my spine, I was probobly going to die I thought to myself. :: They grunted as they spoke, they decided to barelly keep me alive as they were to torture me.. They began to brak fingers, both my legs, my left arm, and then.. My eyes. The Undead believed that I had no right to look upon them, so they did this to me. :: :: My paintful screams echoed in the frozen tundra. I was unaware that my savior was close by. At this point I had no sight, my eyes were rendered useless. A human, not very tall, one eye blinded and left in a dark past. He was an Undead Hunter and burned Cassandra herself before escaping. I was pretty sure he was a Dwarf by the looks of him from seeing him in a tavern earlier before. :: :: Lykos, as he goes by, took out an undead with a bow and arrow. a clean shot between the eyes. The two Undead grabbed their swords and staves to look more the fresh meat, little knowing his potiential. As they ran outside he jumped from the roof of the abandoned home onto one of the Undead, killing it. He swiftly killed the last one with a single blow of his Diamond Sword. Did I mention his war cry was rather loud? :: :: I was sure I was good as dead, I heard alot of yelling and killing, I was sure the Undead had won. But lickily I was wrong for Lykos has beaten them with barelly a scratch and didnt break a sweat. "Blasted Undead" He said with a war torn voice. "You dont look good mate, lets get you out of here before more come." :: :: I was shaking, blood was everywhere, my face was covered in it. I couldn't say a word, just painful grunts as we made our way to Al'Khazar. With both legs broken and no idea where I was or where I was going, it took a very long time , it felt like months. :: :: The travel took for and nights. Little was said on this journey from both of us, just him carrying my dieing body. He had purchased a green cloak for me to cover my bloody face to eliminate suspision of something wrong. Its just a grown man carrying a grown man, with a cloak on, nothing akward or wrong there. :: :: We had finally arrived in Al'Khazar where I rested and healed my wounds. The druids of Elven Villages aided me as they tried to mend my eyes. I slowly found new ways to see my surroundings, but that my friend is a different story. :: :: As far as my story of why and how I was blinded, this storry is complete. Lykos is my savior and my life is forever in his debt. Him and I are good friends now and I trust him with my life as I still have many months ago. :: But you reader... What is your story? What is your future? How will you tell and how will you be remembered? :: Stay Safe Out There. :: ~ The Blind Man
