418 The Quest of the Woodcutting Dwarves skinner452 As many cities were being created for dwarves, we needed minecarts back and forth between the cities. The King Charles made a very complicated deal with Prince Flefal from the trees of the large kingdom of Laurelin. The deal was 14 stacks of iron for us for a shocking 165 stacks of dark wood for their kingdom. Many dwarves set out from their private city that can not be spoke of. The city is on a mountain which is half way covered with a snowy biome. On the other side of the mountain, there was tons of trees for cutting down. This is where the quest began. Lukas supplied everyone with diamond axes for the fastest gathering of logs. We set out very early, it was still dark outside with mobs surrounding us. I brought 30 or so torches with me in case of attacks of any kind. I also brought 60 pieces of wheat with me so I wouldn't die of hunger on this very long quest. The first day was very difficult as the dwarves werent the best at cutting down the trees. But all together for the first day I got about 100 logs which was no where near what we need. We will be here for a very, very long time. The night finally came and the monsters came from the darkness. The morning came very quickly and I did not see one monster the entire night. The day was very productive, but as I got into it I lost track of everyone. By the night, I was alone, cutting trees, afraid... A spider came out of the darkness of a cave that night and attacked one of our men. He got away safely, but we were not sure if we could last if there were many more of those mobs. Later that night, Win'Or was attacked mysteriously and we found his possesions. We only found his things, with no evidence of what killed him. The morning sun finally rose, after that long night of mobs and a death of one of our men. Night fell quickly again as I heard a zombie in a dark cave. I quickly ran because I was afraid of being attacked, and I just wanted to be safe. Later that night we found a watch tower in the open, perhaps a city lies behind it? We went to the watch tower to see if we could find anything. We found a building behind it made of cobblestone and a wood type ceiling. We took a break that night as we entered the mysterious building. The sign on the entrance said "Welcome to Winterfell" There were 2 signs with the names Tyrion, and The Wandering Wizard, probably the owners. There were plenty of houses with fireplaces and books. Behind the houses lied a giant watch tower looking building with some glass on the sides. The sign on the tower read "Prison Tower"... It looks like this is a prison town, and perhaps the houses are the houses of guards. There were plenty of cells... it looks like they take the worst criminals here. After a few discoveries, the morning sun quickly rose and we set out for more logs. Plenty of nights past as we were all getting sore from continiously swinging our axes at trees. At night, we ran into a human named Digurth. We did not know if we should trust him. He told us it was very dangerous place, and he was very dissapointed in us as we were not replanting as much trees as he wished. It sounds like he is a local here, but we can not be sure. Immediatly after talking to him, I saw a zombie. I was feeling very brave, so I ran up to it I struck him twice with my sword that I brough along. After that, I got a little to close and he hit me right back, injuring me very slightly. I ran up to him again and hit him one more time as he died, and fell. In the morning, 3 spiders came out from a cave and attacked the king as he yelled for help and ran away. 2 of our men ran up and killed the spiders. The king was injured a small amount, but we could not risk that, so we gave him some food as he healed up that day. We head home the next day, but we didn't have enough, so we had to head back another day. We all took a couple days rest to recover from the mob attacks. At about mid-day, I set out from Kal'Urguan to head to Kal'Bryst to go get some more trees for our king. I took the minecart which took almost all day to ride. I arrived at Bryst at sunset. I waited until morning and set out for some logs. I went out alone, because I knew some people were already out. As I was exiting Bryst, a creeper came out behind the gate and tried to kill me, but somehow, it did not explode, and I was able to kill it. Night quickly came and spiders were everywhere. A spider attacked me, but I hit it with my iron sword and killed it. I tried to find shelter that night, because I could not survive alone. I killed a creeper, then ran because there were 4 spiders and another creeper chasing me. I found Winterfell again, but by the time I got there, the sun started to rise. The mobs around me caught fire and I was safe again. After a few days of woodcutting, we had 50 some stacks of logs. At this rate, it may take weeks to do this. We were all turning into some of the best woodcutters of all of Aegis. The trees were being cut down faster than ever, and we are almost running low. We may have to wait a few days for all of these trees to finally grow again. One morning, I found 4 creepers standing by a giant snowy mountain covered with trees that I needed for the king. I kept striking them, taking steps back immediatly after contact. I managed to kill all 4 of them and they dropped 3 iron all together. This iron could be useful incase my diamond axe breaks. I went on top of the snowy mountain and looked down. There was a very smooth valley inbetween about 3 mountains, it looked beautiful. It gave me many more trees to cut down aswell. Many of the trees had normal wood, almost as if there was a small biome in the valley. I met up with another woodcutter today, he was heading back to Kal'Bryst. He gave me all of his logs, so I need to be extra safe now. I collected logs until my entire bag was full with them. It was just turning to morning so it was a perfect time to go put these logs away.
