As I sit by the riverside,:: Watching proud daffodils sway in the breeze.:: I am hit by a sudden thought,:: Which brings me to my knees.:: :: I gaze up at those longing stars,:: So bright and full of life.:: A reminder of times long past,:: When the world had much less strife.:: :: Past events fly by like soaring eagles,:: A prompt reminder of things done and taught.:: I am amazed at how all this could happen.:: In just a moment of thought.::
