4370 Writing Books Jerry_Man Aside from just reading books on shelves (right-click) or copying them (hold empty book and left-click shelf) it is possible and quite easy to write your own books:: ::Using the /write command you can write on an empty book. The first text you write will appear as the Title of the book, it will also engage write chatmode, which means whatever you type will be added to the book. This can be toggled typing /write -chat::After creating a Title, any text that is typed will become the body of the book. Don't forget to turn off write chatmode otherwise you might have some strange text in your book.:: ::Other useful commands are /write -undo and /write -erase . A piece of text can be erased from anywhere within the body of the book, so long as the characters are identical. Also the use of /write -eraseall will clear the body of the book.::At any point in time the Title of the book can be changed using /write -title . :: ::Once you've got your book it can be placed in a bookshelf for all to read (holding shift and left-click) and removed again the same way. :: ::Advanded Tip: You can replace a piece of text from anywhere within your book by typing /write -replace -> . This can prove complicated as the characters of the old text must be identical, otherwise who knows what may happen. Lastly, remember to press ENTER often so that you can read over what you are writing. It is best to get it right the first time than have to try and fix something later.
