In this special first edition of the newspaper we will have many special things for you! like: :: An Interview from the high prince of the Malinor Native! :: An interview from the Oren Guard Guard Captain Ashkae! :: Also a story about a popular restaurant Dawns Bakery! :: And the popular restaurant Therving brothers Tavern :: And finnally the location and story of the underground sewer city in al khazar! First up is the Interview of Prince Native: :: 1) Are you scared for the life of the elves? A) Absolutely, with the absence of the Ascended sages it would be foolish to think their lives arent at risk! :: 2) What is the elves relations with the undead/ascended? A) the elves respect the Ascended and get their protection, as far as the undead, we are obligated and hindered by them. :: 3) How is the relationship between elves and humans? A) Under our breath we dont care for the humans and we most likely wouldnt come to their aid if needed. 4) ((OOC How is it being a Developer for Lord of The Craft? A) Its great because the amount of positive feedback we get is outstanding! It also motivates us to work on the server more! :: 5) How large will the new continent be? A) The are will be about as big as the current continent but the cities will be about 1,200 blocks or more! :: 6) How powerful   will magic be? A) It will be less powerful so that it is not overkill but there will be plently of defensive spells and things.)) :: Next we will have the interview of Oren Guard Captain Ashkae :: 1) What exactly do you do here? A) I am the captain of the Oren guard, i oversee the operations, deal with promotions, ethics, basically how the guard is run! I am also trying to make the guards more friendly and respectful currently. :: 2) What do you do to repeat offenders? A) 1st crime is a warning, 2nd is fined. 3rd is jail, and murder is jail and possible execution. :: 3) What requirements are there to get into the guard? A) Well we ask that you have common knowledge, and arent looking to beat on your buddies. It is a duty that needs to be performed to protect the city and the people. Knowing how to wield an iron sword is required for higher rank than recruit . So basically you need Loyalty, A sense of duty, and the ability to fight. :: 4) How much is the pay? A) When your a recruit, nothing. but a guard is paid 500 a week ((RL week)) and it goes up from there, but there are only a few officer spots. We expect guards to work for pay, so those that show up only on pay day get nothing. :: 5) Are the guards recruiting? A) Yes, we take applications daily Handa deals with those. Applications should be made to him.((via the forums)) :: Next is the Story on Dawns bakery: :: Deep in Al'Khazar there is a bakery that has been there since the dawn of time and it has been very popular ever since! It was started by the Previous queen of Oren Dawn Perea. Many notable people have been to the bakery such as: The king and queen, who come often to the bakery. They are also very generous and sometimes gives out money or some food to the poor and the needy. Especially when they are new to Al'Khazar. The owner Dawn Perea says about her inspiration to start the bakery: "it is something i have always wanted, since i was a little girl, i have always loved to cook, and i wanted to do that for as many people as i could. So shortly after coming to Al'Khazar and marrying the king, i opened up my first bakery, it was much smaller than the one i have today . The bakery does not only offer food though! They also offer up a few rooms in the bakery and a boarding house near the bakery."   :: next up is the Therving Inn and Tavern article! :: For about a year, there has been a everincreasingly popular tavern and inn in Al'Khazar and now it is getting bigger than ever. They bring in about 800-3000 minas per week, most made by room rentals. But they also sell Bread, pork chicken, steak, and stew. Also ale of course! They have 3 room types: A smaller room costing about 50 minas for a week, a large room for 100 per week, and a luxury room for 150 per week.  :: last but not least is the Article on the Underground Sewer city! :: There have been rumors going around for a while about a city inside the Al'Khazar sewers, some people believe it and others do not, well im here to tell you its true! and im going to tell you all about it! When you first see the city youll hardly notice its underground until you look up! Inside the city are multiple shops, and inn, a makeshift ship, and a few peoples homes. :: Thank you SO much for supporting our newspaper!
