4797 Siegfried's Memoir's Part 4: Battle For Al'khazar Religious_Pie The shining jewel of Oren, a town striving in these lands. 'Twas a cold night, the winds from the north escaped and swept across Al'khazar like a wave of the coldest water. It was this night, that Iblee's forces struck the centre, and obliterated teh city. Men fell, buildings fell, and so did the moral of Hundreds of Mortals. Giants spawned out of the immaterial realm, and cursed the city with Netheric energy. Unholy beasts of unimaginable horror struck the city with flaming pieces of flesh and bone. The ghasts dominated the sky, smoke on acrid bile either rose or fell to the ground.# Pigmen, zombie's and skeletons littered the ground, as if waiting to suckle their mom. Light began to dawn, and hope slwoly grew throught the crowd, until the sun turned to the moon, and night fell again, 24 hours, of solid darkness. as more and more undead and more and more cultists drove inthrough teh gates. we all los hope in teh ascended, their supposed portal, that was forged to protect us, lay in ruins, but at one point, it grew again, but as obsidian and purple matter. A shining light shone from it's core, and netheric energy irradiated rfom within it. A booming voice spoke from within it, but we all knew what the voice was...Iblee's The master of the Undead, the force of pure Death, a sound as strong as plague. Ascended, now flocking to the city, tried to close the portal, but did not. I stood in the shadows, behind heron's tomb, as ranks of warriors poured in. The portal was broken many times, but each time, it regenerated into a stronger form. Then, another voice boomed, this tme of Overlord Tyrion, his golden robes, shining in the moonlight, inscripted with runes and etches of long-lost languages. his face was concealed by his hood, and three other mysterious men joined his side, one infront, one to his right, and one to the left. Silence fell, and the four chanted word after word of incantations. Those who saw watched in fear, ascended knew this was not going to end soon. The lightning struck like splinter cannon's on the blood covered floor. an achrid goo blotched the ground, black as night, but reflecting light like the moon itslef. The portal expanded, and ignited, glowstone, netherrack and obsidian spewed forth. and from there, lava corrupted the ground. those who stood above it fell into it's maw. Men's flesh fell from their bones, as their eyes tunred to puss. But not puss that our body creates, puss, thatemitted a purple flare. Pieces of roof tiles fell from above, so I clambered to get und-\_ I awoke in the morning, inside Dawn's bakery, pieces of glass hung from their hinges. I must have been hit by some debris, however, the lands were not scarred physically, but through thought, no one was assured, new thoughts of outbreak ran through the streets as if they were school girls hissing a new song. This shall be the last of this series, for in the next fights, I shall be called to arms, my scrolls and tomes taken from me, for it shall be a time of only war.
