4811 The Dream Ohaythar121 :: I fell into a deep slumber in my Grove, with only my nose sticking out of the tepid water. The minute creatures of this beautiful land swimming about my well-worn and tanned skin. THen, I entered the deepest sleep of my life. :: Once that undiscernable descent was over, I was sitting in a chair. A beautiful chair, carved with multiple trees, grafted into one another. All of the chair molded into a magnificent, supple work of art, as it seemed to almost breath under me. However, I wasn't sitting on it in the normal sense, I was hovering over it, only inches. But, whenever I attempted to run my ethereal hand along the grain of the wood, I just couldn't. Then, my head snapped forwards, my body settling as close as possible to the chair. But, the chair was not sitting in a room, or a finely decorated nook. But a void, indescribable. It wasn't black, or white, or anything. It was just pure nothing, unimaginable to the Aegian mind. I stared for what seemed like an eternity, contemplatign everything, yet nothing. It seems odd in retrospect, but at the time, I was feeling purly normal. Then, it was as if a rip was made in the void, a tear in the fabric of everything and nothing and out came, lo and behold a vine, like the ones living on and in me. It slithered out, and wrapped around my chest. It pulled me from the chair, and the chair dissapeared into the nothing. Then another tear appeared, and another, and another, and another. The surface of the void was like a 2 dimensional plane, constantly being ripped apart. And out of all of the tears, came a vine, and all wrappearound me until I could only see a green writhing mass. Suddenly, the vines dissapear, and I appear as I am now, in my leathers, covered in a collection of vines, living and breathing in my body, and on it. But, the void was gone, and in its place was a field. A neverending field of green, with grass up to my waist. So, I walked. :: After what seemed years of walking, I just stopped. I looked up at the sky, and, just like the void, it tore open. But, instead of a vine, out came a woman She was a comely elvish woman, wrapped in garb of plants. Just looking at her invoked a feeling of warmth, and comfort. Yet, at the same time, a sense of overwhelming awe. HEr hand slowly came down, glowing lightly, and tapped my forehead. And when it touched my skin, it was like everything beautfiul, and glorious, and wonderful in all of Aegis popped into my mind, and it was gone. In it's place was the Void. But, the Void was different, it had a different feeling I suppose. It's impossible to describe, it was like that feeling of when you remember something after thinking long and hard, but everywhere at once. And there was the chair. I slowly moved until I sat just barely hovering over it again. But this time, I drifted down, and sat in the chair. And when I did, Alk, my friend who had died only a few days before appeared before me. He was in the prime of his life, dashingly handsome, and proud. Beside him was my old companion Gruol, also in his prime. Both of them looked at me, I had never seen them in this time of their life, so I cherish the memory and they said, "Sillion, do it, for us, for Aegis, for yourself." THen I awoke, and the sun rose over my Grove, and I knew what I had to do.
