1st entry- Finally i have found a place to call home. as the peace settles in my mind, i start to wonder who i can best help others against the scourge they call the "undead. maybe i should do some reading from some of the various libraries around the land. :: 2nd entry- Amazing! all the knowledge i have come across. Magics, the history, and other wonderous things. the most intriguing thing is something called "redstone". it's properties images rushing through my head. Maybe with some thought, additional research, and some inspiration i can make them a reality. :: 3rd entry- i have the blueprints drawn out now to obtain the redstone. :: 4th entry- why can't i find anyone to sell the redstone? do i need a permit? hmm i must find some or come up with another way to activate my creations. :: 5th entry- still  no redstone and no other way in the texts remotely possible. :: 6th entry- FINALLY. i have the redstone. Thondi has given me some. i must repay him soon for this. my creations will finally be complete. i have also found a kindred spirit as a researcher. (guess i am one now, huh? maybe i was one before) this is going to be great!!!!!   :: 7th entry- after some more research, i have found that redstone can only go so far. after a bit of tinkering i have found a way to extend the spark. :: 8th enrty- after discussing with Telinir, both he and i have applied to a new group dedicated to science. hopefully this will allow both our researches to extend further. :: 9th entry- Both Telinir and I have been accepted however after speaking with Telinir, im not sure how effective this will be with the headmaster apparently being a bit closed minded. i havent met him myself yet. i only know ive been accepted by a meesage on a carrier pigeon. so i cant make a full judgement of the man til i meet him myself. :: 10th entry- i have found a more effective wiring pattern to cause my device to fire more rapidly. this will make it much easier to mow down undead minions. and it can be wired to multiple devices. :: :: 11th entry- it has been a while since i have written. teh undead have attacked us recently which has made me more focused on repairing the town. i actually encountered the attackers  once. they summoned monsters as i ordered them to freeze.  then they ran away. that night my nightmares started coming back. :: The man with the dark presens, stacked around him, moving towards me. but more than that this  time. the houses are burning. that's the same but i see something flying overhead. circling the town breathing more fire on it. i think i know is but the name escapes me at the moment. :: as the man comes towards me. i look around and feel sadness but stronger than that - rage. i scream to the heavens and the beast overhead starts acting weird. the man looks up then at me . his eyes no longer red, he starts to back away from me. i dont give him a chance to run. i grab a nearby sword and run him through. then all is blackness. i think that isnt a dream but  a memory of my past and has something to do with my eye. :: i think it is time to change the course of my research. i need to understand my eye more or at least where it's power comes from.
