5423 The Grand Task of Ambros silco97 I am setting of today into the wilds to begin my task. I must live in the wilds for 1 elven week and the only thing I may bring is this book 1 loaf of bread and a wooden sword. I hope i may become humble by doing this and learn what it mean to become one with nature. ::First day of Travel ::This will be my first day of travel before my task begins. I have eaten well so I was not hungry although i fear the night and what it has in store for me. I have made a small hole in the earth to stay in for the night. I would never think i would spending the night with worms and mice until I was dead. But here I am doing it, I will have bathe when I return. I am camping just outside of the small not so well known village of Talun. It was a nice village beside the fact that no one was there ::2nd Day of Travel ::I wake up to a dawn of wet mud and worms. A pleasent smell........ I have gone through much progress toady. I have crafted torches with wood and charcol. I have also killed several birds for there good meat that they have on their legs. I tryed to kill a wild boar although it was thin and under fed and it had no meat on its bones. I have also made a wooden sword out of a rather short oak tree and find it to be wounderfully flimsy. I have dug a small hole of dirt and placed torches inside of it so I may have light to write in it. The worms are still around me and still give off the smell of wet mud. I fear if I dig one more hole I may turn into a worm me self! My eyes feel as if sand if layerd on them and are closing ever so slowly. I must stop writting and sleep a bit for next dawns travel. ::3rd Day of Travel ::as I wake up to a orange morn I hear sheep and cows not far off. this will be my last day of travel before my trial will begin. I came across a crater filled with a purple rock and netherrack around it. I seemed to have hit the ground with quite a force to leave cuch a hole. Near it I found a dinky little inn called Harrens Hunting Lodge. Quite a wounderful little site so see in these woods. I came across a massive city with stone walls and a wide moat. Never have I seen it but my is it grand. I did not enter incase that would be breaking the rules of my task but I was a sight to see. I have also entered the frigid north. The crunch of snow now fills my ears, it is a nice sound to hear as I have not been up north for many years. when I was diggin my hole today because the trees were pines and are bad for climbing .write I found a chunk of coal blocking my way. It left my hands black from its ashen dust. The ground here is hard and is hard to dig. I will have a shallow hole tonight. So cold infact the my normal worm freinds that I have grown found of are not here. Worms are simple creatures. Why cant we be like them? I do not know, they seek what is best, not what will bring them pain. ::1st day of trail ::I woke up early today eager to start my day of trial. Bur I hear the sound of a spider out side I must make a quick escape while it is away I killed the fuzy little vermin. With a wooden sword! I came across some ruins today up north. The wet snowy land they sat in had grwon moss on the ancient stone of which they were made of. Many years ago they must have had some good architecs I dug into a tree for tonights shelter. It was a small tree just big enough to house me. The plush leaves under my aching feet is going to quickly make me doze off. ::2nd Day of Trial I woke up when it was still dark out today. Although I hade a nice dreamless sleep with much rest. as the northern spell began to ease into soft rolling hills I felt at peace to get away from that blasted north that I had grown to hate. Although the rolling hills were not as they seemed. A flat plain of grass with stumps were trees once stood dotted the landsacpe. I looked in horror, who do such a thing and defile the land in such a way. I quickly ran to the nearest tree, which was severl miles away and planted the seeds I had knocked off of it. Let us hope they will grow. I also came across a hole of a hobbit. It was wounderful, cotten walls and wooden floors gave it a good feel. Although I hit my head on the roof several times because of its lowness. I dug another hole to stay in and found my olf freinds again sticking out of the wet mud. Although the ground here was not as wet. It was dry, at least the smell is no longer here. All land is diffrent, like us as beings of Aegis, but we all have one thing the same, we can grow. I woke up rather late today. I must be getting use to this way of life. I do enjoy sleeping in dirt. I have netered a land untouched by people. The air is clean and the grass is a glossy green pleasent to my old eyes. I came across a large city like area far from the normal populated area of Aegis. It was not well built though. vines grew from the cracks in the bricks the buildings were built of and sand seeped through the cobblestone street. I could not dig a large hole today, my back has a sharp pain and my hands are covered in bliters. What task have i gotten my self into, a truly large one. I must press on upon the next morn. I feel the whisper of life and nature getting louder. Arg I forgot to title today. Any who read this the time i write "I woke up today" is were "Trial Day 3" should be. i hope I do not conffuse my self by writting this. I am very tired if i am doing These small errors in nothing more then writting! ::4th day of trial ::At last the final day of trial. I am sad though, i have grown to love the free lands of Aegis. Ack I ate a leg of a raw chicken. It tasted foul and I had to go release my stomach in the grass the other days meal pouring out. I do not feel good, i am out of breath and my back can hardly move with out making the noice that bones make when they crack. I must rest I have been walking for a bit now and my legs are bent as they can no longer support me. My food ha ran dry and my mouth craves water to quench it. I have sat under a tree, be no means a large tree a simple pak tree with a short trunk. Just tall enough for me to sit under. What relife for my back and feet. Although my stomach still aches, the trees fruit has given me food. The trees wood is strong and will make a good staff to take the journey home with. I have broken a branch to carve a staff with, using my small wooden sword I have widdled away the dark oaken bark to show the light colored wood A cool breeze has come to me while I widdle. tommarow I shall set off for home. I must have fallen asleep under the tree for it is morn, as I got to my feet a seed fell from my lap. This tree has served my needs well, I shall never forget what it has done for me.
