Krogath's Journal - Mastering Darkness

::Entry 1:: I have found a dark and deep room with no light i will meditate here until i can contact a Spirit of Darkness and then i will try to master, learn more about and also learn to control and gain power from Darkness. I will not stop meditation until i get in contact and master the element of Darkness ::Entry 2:: I hear whisper and faint calls but i am sure that none of these are the call of a spirit of Darkness, i have only started meditation but i can already tell that the spirits nearby are strong and if i am not careful may lose myself. ::Entry 3:: I have found the dark spirit but he seems to ignore me. He has told me "you are not ready yet you must first become stronger." I will continue to meditate until he accepts me, i have not reached my goal yet, i cannot stop here, i will master the shadow element. ::Entry 4:: he is still neglecting me and ignoring my calls i have fallen into deeper meditation to awaken me from this dark slumber it will take strong hit to wake me up. I hope i am not awaken early from this meditation, i have not completed my goal i cant leave now i must continue ::Entry 5:: The spirit, he has slowly started to accept me so far he has said "i am the Spirit of Darkness and if you really want to master my abilities you must first understand that i am the spirit of vengeance, murder, crime and obviously darkness. Many have failed on this path you are taking, many have died, many have given up half way and many tried to use me for evil things but you shaman, should know well that we spirits serve justice and will not harm the balance of nature, it is our duty to watch over the world, are you up for the challenge shaman?" after i told him " Yes i will master darkness, no matter what!" he told me " no matter what ey? very wll i shall be in contact soon, for now you need to gather more power" ::Entry 6:: I did not hear anything from the Spirit of Darkness for about 6 months but i continued to strive forward and to gain more power. I heard a voice echo saying " you are ready now, we shall begin" "listen carefully as i give you knowledge about Darkness, i am one of the harder spirits to master, Chaos and Death are 2 elements who share a familiar power with me." as he was talking i slowly felt my body being consumed so i tried to hold myself and then suddenly he laughed and said "you are stronger than i thought, if you truly want to master me . you must first know what it means to live in Darkness, you must learn how it feels to always be in the darkness, i can teach all this but you must sacrifice something for me. Sacrifice both your eyes and become blind and see how it feels to be surrounded by constant darkness and to be in a empty space of nothing, you must understand that seeing is not always believing! that what you see is only a false illusion of the true image! are you ready for a world of darkness , shaman Krogath?" i felt a chill go down my spine as i told him "a sacrifice of eyesight is a small step to take for such power" he then replied "very well hold your arm and you staff out this may hurt for a second, this much power may be harmful so be careful, your meditation is complete you may wake up" ::Entry 7:: I awoke from my meditation i could see nothing but i felt this strong power flowing through my veins, i must let the warlord and high shamans know
