The book is compact and bound in well-worn, but sturdy leather.  The author's name has mostly faded away, and all that can be made out are  what seem to be the first three letters of their name: S-I-N-  It appears to be the first book in a two part, step-by-step guide on how to reinforce tilled soil so that furrows remain even after multiple crops are harvested.
