With the loss of my previous journal a few years ago, I seemed to lose touch with the events of the world around me. Any thoughts I may have had are gone entirely without the outlet that simple ink and paper can provide. For this purpose I have decided to create this journal; I shall once again  record my thoughts so that I may read them later and reflect upon them.
