Volume 1 - Zombies; the Walking Dead

The first type of monster I encountered upon my travels in Aegis was the most common, but dangerous nonetheless. Some like to call them The Walking Dead, others prefer the term Zombies. The beasts are recently deceased people, whose souls have been taken by the undead as they died, and are not allowed to pass through to be with Aeriel. They are still covered in skin, though it is rotten on many, and unruly to look at. Some wear the chainmail armour they were buried with, some carry decorative weaponry; though none know how to use it, as they all fight with their fists. Some may prefer to take the armour or weapons for themselves, others may prefer to take only money. The Walking Dead will, like all other creatures of the night, disintegrate upon death, so you will know when you have killed it... :: I have recently discovered these monsters are known as Zombies
