Dear Mr Jones, I am sorry that you have gone through all this trouble to contact me . The reason i never let Tom near our child was not because i did not want him to help me raise Richard. But it was because i was already married. When Richard was concieved i was very drunk. My husband still thinks to this day that Richard is his own. And i would like to keep it that way. Tom seemed like a nice man and in another life perhaps things with him would've worked out but i am married and i won't ruin my family for Tom. Good Day to you Sincerly Mrs Elsa Smyth
