Kai........ it hurts me to say this. The darkness is slowly taking me over. It won't be long til the full effects take place. I can feel it growing stronger while I'm writing you this very letter. The lightness in me will soon die out under pressure of keeping the darkness out. Nitholiak has placed a spell on both me and Lance. Lance turned instantly since he is not as strong as me mentally. I was able to hold it off, but I can feel my mind growing weak. I can't tell you this in person, for it will be too late. I talked with Blood about it. He was able to "dodge" Nitholiak's spell so to speak. The only way for the spell to be lifted from me is for Nitholiak to do it himself. Nitholiak was dieing, his ancestor gave him a chance to live. In return he would have to turn undead and let Gesthal Vonschlitin take control of his body whenever he pleases. Cataris is his partner in this, as you know he was turned undead as well. I can't give you all the details, you have to ask Blood. I hope that, the day I'm free of this curse, I can return working with you. Kai, from now on you can't trust me, Lance, Nitholiak, or Cataris. I'm turning in my Ranger Seal until further notice to you. The darkness will want to use it for wrong things. Kai, I hope I can pick up where I left off with the Oren Rangers once I am cleansed.
