6280 Stage One: General: Markings: Distuth It all started with the skeletons. Due to their fleshless nature, they were the easiest to observe the markings on. The markings are spread over their body, and were it not for the fact that they are identical on every skeleton (save for places where wear and tear had damaged the markings) they could easily be mistaken for nothing more then scratched bones. Similar markings were found on the zombies and pigzombies, once they were sufficiently restrained to remove the flesh obscuring their bones. However, the bones on the two types of zombies were on average thicker, and coated with different markings. This led me to believe that the bones of skeletons were in fact, shaved down zombie bones, with their previous markings destroyed in order to make space for the new ones. This implies someone is doing this shaving, and that the monsters serve a purpose. As of what this purpose is, I am as of yet able to come to a supportable conclusion on the matter. But if these bones are in fact shaved down, the monsters are not some formless evil. Further investigation is warranted.
