The Grand Central Trade Station or GCTS is a way for people to trade their items that they might find or make on a regular basis and quickly sell them to the public. In other words, it is an automated way for a person to sell their items at their own price to another person by coming to just one place. :: How it works: Selling: If you are selling an item(s), you simply give the item to the Grang Central Trade Station employee (the person behind the desk). The employee will tell you the usual selling price for the item based off all previous, current transactions. Then decide on a price to sell the item(s) for and pay the person 10 minas (transaction fee). The person will then deposit the item in a chest and wait until a person comes to the GCTS and ask to buy the certain item. If the person agrees on the price, and wants to buy it the person will be given the item(s) in return for the money. :: The money will then be paid to the person who originally gave us the item(s) regardless of wheter they're on vacation or not ((offline)). ((to make sure the person knows, we'll send the person a forum post saying "Transaction Complete.")) If the item doesn't sell and the person needs the item back, then the person would be welcome to come back and get their items back at no charge. If the person wanted to sell more than one item ((ex. 2diamonds and 3 coal instead of just 2 diamond )) then they'd need to pay 10X the different items they want to sell. To prvent people from using the GCTS as a type of bank, we will not allow the person to sell an item more than 15% of the currently traded value of it. :: Buying: If you'd like to to buy an item from the GCTS, just come to the building and ask for the item and at what price you'd like it for. The person behind the counter will tell you the median value of all recent trades for the item and then will tell the person if we have any of the items at the price that he or she is looking for. If we do, then the person will pay us the item's prive and an extra 10 minas (transaction fee).
