Portals, Made of Dark Stone Named Obsidian.  When lit on fire a Purple Glow Appears.  Worst of all Undead Travel through them, There mostly up north but you will never know when they appear down south.....  Portals Lead to the "Nether" a Evil place, where no light shone down on but Darkness and fire filled with lava with a huge Fortress where the undead stay....
