As a young child Maximus was sold into slavery by raiders who kidnapped him from his village. After years of servitude and secretly training himself for combat Max was able to  escape during a riot that he instigated. ::During his escape Max was able to rescue a fellow slave, the son of a wealthy Dwarven nobleman . Ater getting the Nobleman's son home safely he was offered a reward. Maximus chose to be educated so that he would never have to be as lowly as a slave every agai n. His education refined his building and fighting skills learned as a slave, and also taught him how to behave in the presence of royalty.:: After finishing school Maximus was at a loss as to what to do. Wandering  the streets of Aegis he one day found a recruiter for the Golden Harvest . Starting there as a miner, Max delivered any loads of ore from Raven Hold all the way to Alk'hazar for Lord Richards. This job was so dangerous thaMaximus considered it only a little better tha slavery. He was sent to the healers by monsters, bandits, and lava.. even thrown in jail for accusations of s orcery.::After decades of service to Lord Richards, Max was promoted to Overseer  of The Harvest. In his old age Maximus started investigating other interestes that he had wh en younger. His previous connection with Ambros from teh OSRT led him to the Mages guild . Although Maximus was offered a leadership job originally, he wasnt in position to accept it at the time. However as the guild begain to reform he was accepted as te apprent ice to Guild Master Rilath. (to be continued as more happens)
