721 Shamanism Lexperiments I am on my first task right now. I have been apprenticed to Thyst, a shaman in an orc town. I came to learn shamanism, and I am. My first task is to collect gladiator blood and a mushroom. I have just collected the blood in a leather sack. Thyst has told me I could find mushrooms just south of the arena I have learned of two spirits so faar- Donuur and Arya. Donuur is the spirit of strength and valor. He respects non-weapon fights of loyalty. He appears in a battle where both sides have a reason to fight, and likes offerings of sands of the desert and juice of cactuses. :: :: Arya is the spirit of kindness and generousness. And healing. I believe she can heal many ailments. She likes offerings of fresh milk and candles. :: :: I have finished my first task. I met another student of Thyst's, Shaggo. Oh, Thyst is starting a ritual. He told us to look at the lone building floating outside his house. He told us to burn an incense on a candle. He says it will cause a spirit of water to come. Note : Cactus dye burned on a candle = water spirit. We went out to the hous at sea and burned the incense on a candle. Shaggo looks like he went insane. He was laughing insanely and eyes rolld back into his head. Water spirit posessed Shaggo. He says that water spirits are the water of time. He says the orcs are like a river, powerful in numbers. The spirit's name was Bongblud. It just dissapeared. :: :: It turns out, the incense I used earlier lures lesser non-fire nature spirits. We are summoning the earlier spirit now by using its name. Many different types of spirits. Ex. fire, water, earth, air, metal, thunder. Different insences burned = different spirits. MANY types of incenses. :: :: We were reqired to find a sapling and grow it ourselves. We are to cut if with a stone axe to summon a spirit. I grew my tree at midnight with bonemeal. I cut down the tree and gave my thngs to Thyst. He told us to wait otuside for a while. Shaggo angered Donuur by using the ritual tool as a weapon and actually DIED. The skies then spewed out with leaves and fire. Shaggo came back, and Thyst gave us our staves. Shaggo's element was fire. Mine was life.
