The Tale of The Oren Rangers, The Original.

::Written by Kalen Forseth ::This is the history that I recall from my days as a Oren Ranger. ::Led by Commander Nords, the Oren Rangers were originally a branch of the Oren Military. ::They led lived of solitude, communing with elves often, and gaining a respect from them. ::The ranks were as follows: ::Private, Sgt., Cpl, Lt, Commander. This is all I can recall of ranks. ::I was a Lt, second in command of the Rangers. ::The Rangers were a zealous lot, led by Nords, they became quickly Feared, and hated. ::They were hunted by evil, and hated by good for their methods. ::It all came back to haunt them in the Fall of the Oren Rangers. ::A group of citizens came one night, and gathered together. ::They set up camp, and began to plot. ::Soon, the Rangers relized what was happening, and sent out a scout ::In heinsight, even though it protected him well, diamond armor wasn't smart to wear for sneaking. ::The enraged citizens attacked the first day of the seige, and fought hard. ::But sadly, Nords was one of the greatest swords men in Aegis at the time. ::And he was one of the most well-prepared men of all time, having hoards of diamonds, he could afford to give each man his own full diamond armor set. ::He did so, and we went to war. We cut them appart easily, and it was fine. ::The citizens attacked again and again for four days. ::On the third day, the elves joined, and were slaughtered aswell. ::I do not try to justify this, but merely classify it as self defense. ::On the fourth day... ::It went to hell, so to speak. The Wandering Wizard had had enough. ::He decended upon the ranger encampment with a spell upon himself, he could not be defeated in battle. ::He slaughtered all except me, and began to fight Nords. Such a fight Aegis has not know n in a while.. ::Nords, to, also had this spell, by meens unknown. ::They clashed blades fearsomly, and fought hard, and long. ::When the wizard relized what happened, he removed nord's spell ::powerless, nords put up a good fight for a while, but sucumbed to the wizard's blade. ::The rangers disbanded after that night, and the base was looted. ::-The True tale of the Oren ((Power))Rangers.
