7392 Embracing light ikeyman232 "Ond day..." LaTerre said when he woke that morning. "One day, I want to help the weak." As LaTerre left his Slum apartment, he visisted the church above ground, as usual for his daily rout ine . That day, however, would change his life. Forever. When he entered the church, he had prayed a little, and was just about to leave. This time, however, there were two men outside the church. Since he had one of his books on hand, he asked if one of them was interested in a book. The two men, one that looked wise and wore a robe, and the other who had a dark cloak with Red stripes, Didnt answer at first. LaTerre tried his luck again, and the man in the dark cloak turned to him. That was when, the man shouted, "WHAT DO YOU WANT?". LaTerre, in fear, studdered as usual, and the man grew impatient. That is when, The man un-sheathed a sword bright as day, and as gold as the High Kings treasury! LaTerre had backed away much in fear, and we almost to tears. This is when, the wise man in robes, had enough of it. The man in robes told the man in a dark cloak to stop, but the man refused. The man continued to harass LaTerre, and the man in robes grew impatient. As they neared the altar, LaTerre fell to his knees in prayer. "God...Aeriel...Help me, and get this man away" LaTerre spoke. At the sound of the prayer, however, the man in robes twitched. His voice grew deeper, and deeper, and louder and louder. This is when, LaTerre had learned, this man in the robes was named Blundermore. Quite a majestic name. Blundermore shouted at the man in the dark cloak to stop. This is when LaTerre learned that the mans name was Airion. Airion refused and refused untl Blundermore could take no more. Blunder then casted a bursting spell, and in a flash of liight, there was a huge cage, with Airion in it infront of LaTerre. The spell had worn off, and Airion had gotten out. That is when him and his friend, an alchemist ran for their lives. Blundermore had saved LaTerre. By then, LaTerre was a nervous reck. He was mumbling all over and studdering in every sentence. "To...To...To the better place..." he exclaimed. LaTerre wished to live on a hillside, overlooking the sea. That is when LaTerre had asked of Blundermore, if he would take him in. Blundermore accepted. When Blundermore brought LaTerre to the UAC compound, LaTerre was amazed at what he saw. Friendly ascended everywhere, meditating, healing, doing all sorts of jobs. He loved it there, and loved the people also. He didnt speak much at first, but he got used to it. The studder slowly, slowly faded away. He met interesting people, like his his new great friend, a Dwarf that is very kind. He met ascended who he asked the question, "How does one gain Aeriels blessing?" This statement, is the most non-truthful statement. Everyone on Aegis has Aeriels blessing. Even the petty thieves, everything. This Dwarf, told him a little secret. "You may not be able to save the world, but youcan be a little glowing light on it." He said. "Smiling, helping people, and even giving up a seat is considered doing good." These are the codes to what LaTerre lives by. He will be forever good, and the world will sloly become good with him. :: - LaTerre
