How to make: Potions

This is a small guide for starting potion making. Don't expect any secrets to be divulged in this volume. ::Chapter One : Equipment ::A potion maker should have a few things in order to brew safely. The first is a pair of thick gloves. Preferably made of leather. This is to avoid acids ruining your hands; you need your hands in top condition in order to apply correct amounts, and get them out of the way of explosions. The second thing you will need is a brewing stand. These are specilized devices designed to conduct burnt regents in to your bottles are madw with the physical parts of a blaze man. This stand is a MUST have for any aspiring alchemist. There are very few potions that can be made without it. The potions that can are only able to fix menial things. Warts, hair color, etcetera. The last thing you will need is a water source. Many swear by a cauldron, but in my experiance it tends to taint the water with unwanted iron. ::Chapter 2 Regents ::The hardest part of potion brewing is collecting the potion materials. The basis for all potions, nether wart, is held by a select few. they do not part with it easily. Another item used in potion making is glowstone dust. Considering it is only found in the nether it is even harder to come by. The glowstone dust is used to increase the power of potions. Redstone,  is only found in the bowls of Aegis. It can extend how long potions effects last. Often, instead of doubling it, it can triple the duration of the potion. I am not going to tell you the secret regents to make specific potions. otherwise you may put me out of buisness before I even start!
