A warm and moist day filled the streches of the plains. Farmers harvested their wheat, butchers chopped, and lumberjacks cut. Everyone was up and about. Small villages like dots dotted this plain, each with a diffrent culture and government. The first, was a normal Human settlement. This was run by a council, instead of one head. The second, a smaller Human settlement. This was a small farming village with  a manor and workers. These were two completelly diffrent places. The first settlement was a happy-go-lucky, feel good place. The second, however, was a place of dispair. Workers were almost forced to work, by their head, Tatsin. Tatsin ran a corrupt government and used bribery andillegal tactics to keep in power. In the first town, a man was forced out, due to thievery. He quickly walked to the second, and applied for a job. He would work as treasurerer. A grave mistake by Tatsin. Slowly and slowly, the "treasurer" took more and more money. The power of Tatsin lowered, and lowered. Until officially, Tatsin was thrown out, and supprisingly, the thief became the head. The thief changed ways things were done, supprisingly, for the good. The people were no longer forced to work, and they did as they pleased. The 2nd settlemtn grew larger and larger, ntil it passed the 1st. The Thief king would be remembered in history as a born leader, and not as a petty thief.
