You must read this book before becoming a guard! ::Part 1: Do not let ANY citizens into the guard area. A sign is posted outside where they can't go. If someone goes past that point and says they are a guard, always check the guard index and make sure they are there. If they are not on the list, tell them. If they do not agree, you may have to use force on them. ::Part 2: How to guard. When a citizen approaches, always ask them what they are doing here. A response such as "just let me in" or "open the gates" are not acceptable, so don't let them in. A good answer would be "I have a home here" or "I have a job here". Just use common sence when letting people in to the city. Always keep tha' gate open when you are going off duty. You may let citizens out when they want to leave, but if there is someone who wants in, make sure you ask what they are doing here, then the person may leave. ::Part 3: Pay. All guards will be payed 50 minas per IRL hour. You must work an entire hour to be payed. Tell King Belin if you have worked for an hour, and you will get payed as soon as possible.
