Improvsior
It was a sunny morning when I woke up. I felt I was ready for it. I went downstairs and ate my breakfast. When I was done I suddenly realised that this was my last meal at home. I must be ready when the sun reaches her highest point. I am proud that I am following my father's footsteps. But also scared that I won't be able to follow him. My fater was in the army. He always wanted that I would join the army too. To bad he isn't here to see it. I heard the chief come in. I needed to go. I need to fulfill my task. I heard the chief talking about something. I couldn't hear it. I was to deep in my thoughts. I guess he was talking about the task I need to do. I know what to do. I have been trough it a hunderd times. And still I am nervous. I see the desert up ahead. My town is between a forest and a desert. I have to travel trough the desert. The fastest man that reached the other side did it in 1 week. I hop I will do it in 1 week and 3 days. You have to find food on your way. The only thing you get is a compass and 1 bread. The chief suddenly stopped. I guess it was time. I saw my family crying. The only one who didn't cry was my little brother. I guess he didn't understand what was going on. I saw the chief looking at me. I guess it had to hurry up. I looked at my family for the last time. And he ran away. I ran and ran. I didn't look back. When I knew I was far enough. I sat. I sat and was thinking about how I should handle this journey. I was thinking about my dad again. I asked myself how he did this? I guess he did it as the best. He was the only one who reached the otherside in 1 week. I hoped I could just as good as my father. He stood up and looked at my compass. It was my father! But before I noticed he was gone. I guess he wanted me to go to my destination. The days came and go. Every day I had to seek food. When I reached the otherside I was near dead. I was luck that the oupost had some food and shelter for me. They were very friendly at the outpost. The next day I had to travel a half day to the grand city. When I arrived at the grand city I asked for a date immidiately. So I knew how long I took to reach this. Apparently i was 1 week and 1 day. When I heard that I was very proud of myself. Now that I have completed my task will I look for a job. I wandered around till night. I found an underground bar where I could sleep and work. I was a very nice place. But we had to sleep with 4 in 1 room. The work days were long but I liked it. I talked a lot with a fellow barman. He had been trough the same things. He wanted to join the army too. Not cause of his father like me. But cause his village got ran over by bandits. You think he joined the army cause of revenge. But he called it his duty. After we both had raised enough money. We bought our gear and sword. Before you could join the army you had to go to a big trainingscamp. So we registered us for that camp. There we heard we would group up with many other people to walk 2 days to the camp. The night before we were both really excited. We said our old boss farewell. And when out for the night/ Going to some bars. The morning after was hard. Cause we didn't get any sleep. When we grouped up with the rest there were many people. And only one leader. Our leader was a tough guy. He yelled and cursed a lot. He told us that on the travel to the camp we would already leave people behind. Cause they couldn't make it. We travelled to the camp. And indeed the leader was right. Even my friend was tired. I helped him. I couldn't do this without him. When we arrived at the camp it was dark. We grouped at the center of the camp. Where we were given our first task. Light the camp! We had to put torches everywhere. While the leader just sat in his chair. I saw him ther sitting on his chair. And we did all the work. When we were done we went to bed. The next morning we were woken by some screaming. Our leader slaped someone in his face. He screamed: If anyone disrespects me again I willl do it to you too! After a while I met the guy who screamed. I asked him why our leader slapped him. He said that he didn't spoke to him as a higher rank. What you have to do. When I heard that I got pissed. I wanted to put a knife in the neck of our leader. That night I felt i was ready. I said goodbye to my friend who sleeped next to me. I made a knife of some glass. And I sneaked to the leader his offices. He was still awake. But when I came closer I saw that he felt in sleep in his chair. I put the knife against his throat. My hand was shaking. But I felt this was the right thing to do. In one move I cut his throat. Now I had to get away from this place. I ran and ran. When I couldn't see the camp anymore I rest. I felt a sleep on some soft grass. I woke up in the early morning. I had no idea where I was. My frist thoughts where: that I had to travel. Get as far away from that camp. I travelled for some days. After 3 days I saw the first sign of life. It was a small farm. There was no one there. I dieing from the hunger. So i stole some weed and made bread of it. I left the minas and gold ignots that were there. I ate the bread and left the farm. After a long walk found I a big road. I followed it. Till reached the big city. They city where I would join the army. I was scared of being caught but I still went in the city. I was curious what was happend after I killed the man. So I went to the military base. It was as busy as always. I saw my old friend. He didn't saw me. I was asking myself if it was smart if I went to him. But i went to him. He wasn't nervous or sad when I talked to him. He said thank you for some reason. I asked him why and he said. That I did a good job killing him. The group left the body in the river. When they moved back to the city they said to the commander that the leader left and won't come back for a while. I wouldn't think that the general believed that. But maybe didn't he like that leader too. They also said that I still in the army was. So I got accepted in the army. Not that way I have planned but that doesn't matter. After a few days was our equipment give. My friend and I were on patrol to a nothern village till. Everything went well for a period. After that period I had a girlfriend and more friends. I was on patrol again. With my old friend. Till we saw something glowing on the other side of a hill. It was a purple glow that we never had seen before. We went over the hill. When we finnaly saw what the glowing things was were we shocked. I was the first one that moved after a while. It was a portal. We inspected the portal. There came a strange noice out of the portal. My friend suggested that we should go in. I was nervous and scared but I followed my friend loyal. We went through the portal and came in a hell. It was all red and black with fire all around us. I was looking off a cliff. When I looked around I didn't see my friend anywhere. Till I heared some screaming from over a mountain of fire. Help he screamed. I went over the mountain. I saw him fighting some strange monsters. Monsters I have never seen before. They were half man half pig. I took my sword and charged. We had to fight and fall back to the portal. We went back to the portal and ran as fast as we could back to the city. When we arrived in the city went we to the general and talked to him about what we have seen. He called his whole army together. With the big army we went to the portal. The portal was making louder noice than before. Then suddenly out of nowhere there came a gigantic army pigmen out of it. We fought and fought. But every man that had fallen was turned in a zombie. It was like plaque. We had to fall back to the city. We were safe in the city cause it had gigantic walls to protect. We were safe for several day. After some days they came back. It was in the middle of the night. I saw pigmen walking in the streets. Someone yelled that they came through the sewers. We had to fall back cause we couldn't fight them. But there was one man in black standing on the walls. The general yelled that the guards needed to open the gates. But I saw the guards lying dead in there outpost. We were trapped. I thought to myself. If the pigmen could go in the city through the sewers. We could get out through the sewers. I yelled to everyone: go through the sewers! I saw a well where I could go through to get in the sewers. I went first through the well. But the black man jumped down. He closed the well with stone. I was the only one who was in the sewers. I had to leave. I couldn't save anyone anymore. I walked through the sewers. I came out far away from the city. I lost everyone. I was the only survivor. There was only one thing I could do. I will travel back to the town where I grew up. I leave this journal here. If everyone ever reads this. Good luck and get as far away from here. I already went Back to Base.
